22nd Annual Rollin’ on the River Blues Festival - Friday, August 20 and Saturday, August 21 – Celebrating live blues music on the banks of the Mississippi River – Lock and Dam #19, under the bridge in Victory Park – Keokuk, Iowa.

The event has been called “Iowa’s Best Fest by a Dam Site” and is the longest running blues festival in the Tri State Area.  Thru the years “Rollin’ on the River” has presented some of the finest blues musicians around, from A to Z, (Anson Funderburg to Buckwheat Zydeco).

Rollin’ on the River has been around for 22 years due in large part to the great location by the river, professional staging, lighting & sound, and some of the best blues performers from the region and around the country.

Rollin’ on the River’s all volunteer organizers attribute the Festival’s success to our event volunteers, the support of area businesses & patrons, and the loyal fans who come down by the river every year to enjoy quality live blues music.

The Rolln’ on the River Café again offers a great selection of foods from area restaurants and venders with choices sure to please every taste-including kids!

Aspiring musicians, both young and old, are invited to attend the 2 FREE harmonica clinics offered Saturday afternoon at 3 and 4 p.m. with free harmonica’s given to the 1st 50 participants.  Kids activities are also offered both Friday evening and Saturday afternoon, before the shows.

Ticket prices are $12 per night at the gate or you can purchase advance tickets for both nights at: Keaslings Pharmacy, 1414 Main, Meister Music, 711 Main, and Hy-Vee Food Store 3111 Main, in Keokuk.

Hope to see you at the Festival, August 20 & 21.  Bring some friends, some lawn chairs, and enjoy two great evenings of live music!
